The Lakers Championship Rings Have The Perfect Tribute To Kobe Bryant

As we know, last night the Lakers received their championship rings. I'll be honest, it was not the best time I've ever had watching TV. Credit to me for powering through though. Well then I saw this picture of those rings and even I have to say, the Kobe tribute is a nice touch. The Mamba snake, the different colored jerseys on the inside, it's perfectly done. I was curious how the team was going to incorporate Kobe into this and they nailed it. The whole thing still seems a little surreal if you ask me. The accident, the fact that the Lakers actually went out and won the whole thing. It still feels crazy even to this day. I really like how they found a way to tie in Kobe but not make it overshadow anything. 

I also don't hate the move of not displaying the banner until the crowds are back. Who knows when they'll be able to unleash it in front of their fans, but you have to wait until the Staples Center is sold out. So while this whole ordeal is making me physically ill, I can give credit where credit is due. OK there, I said two positive things about the Lakers. I'm ending the blog now. Go Clippers.
