Don't You Dare Call Justin Jefferson A Diva After He Got Caught Being Pissed Off At Kirk Cousins Mid-Game

Justin Jefferson is right. Don't call him a diva. He did nothing wrong here. Honestly, the biggest shock is it took this many games for him to get caught being pissed at Kirk Cousins. Can we really blame him? Did he really expect Kirk to nail the pass? This Kirk Cousins: 

He barely made that throw when there was no defense. There was no one ready to ragdoll him to the turf. He just ... missed. Now you expect him to hit a wide receiver who is moving when there are defenders? Clearly that's tough to do. What do people expect? That's why it was so shocking when he hit this pass: 

By all accounts you can make the case that Jefferson has been the best rookie in the NFL this year. He has 1,182 yards and 7 touchdowns. All with Kirk Cousins there. All while playing for the Vikings, the same team that Stefon Diggs left because of a lack of a passing threat (h/t PFT): 

“People have a common misconception that I don’t love my old team,” Diggs told Sam Borden of ESPN.com. “I have nothing but love and respect for those guys. But where they were and where they were headed . . . in my eyes, it wasn’t going to be in the best interest of my career. As a receiver, if you want to have success, you’ve got to catch the ball.”

He wasn't even wrong with what he said about Kirk! That's not a diva. That's just holding your quarterback accountable. Love that he went to Twitter to defend himself too. Get ahead of the story before the story gets out of control. Everyone wants to call him a diva, not here. This is on Kirk.
