Bucs Entire Special Teams Room Put On COVID List

This is bad, very bad. Maybe it's karma because the Bucs defeated the Vikings 26-14 and benefitted greatly from Vikings K Dan Bailey missing three field goals and an extra point. Moving forward, the Tampa finishes with a soft schedule: at Atlanta, at Detroit, and vs. Atlanta. But not having our stud Kicker who is 93% on the season, Ryan Succop, our punter who also handles kickoffs and is a touchback machine (89% with Bucs), in Bradley Pinion, and our long snapper Zach Triner, who made a game saving tackle last year is a tough pill to swallow.

Fortunately enough, the Bucs have protected K Greg Joseph on the practice squad all season preparing for a doomsday scenario like this. Unfortunately, Joseph is only a 66% career touchback guy and Tampa's return unit has been vulnerable to big returns this season. It'll be interesting to see how much this moves the line if at all, right now it's the Bucs -6.0. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bucs go for two more this week as Pinion is also the holder for kicks. Hopefully this is just relegated to the Special Teams room and we don't have an outbreak on our hands. Prayers up for my squad.
