A Dad Made His Bully Son Fight A Professional Boxer To Teach Him A Lesson

Source – [T]he boxer held back a fair amount but the kid still left with a bloody nose and a really sad face.

Outside of the ring, his father was patronising his bully of a son as he was taught a lesson in the harshest way, [shouting] “Hit back, tough guy! Hit back, tough guy! Come on.”

The fighter was then replaced by a younger boxer, but he still lays into the guy’s son mercilessly.

I love this punishment. If the dad himself did it, he’d be an asshole. But sentencing your kid to learn he’s not that tough if he’s fighting in school? It seems both fair and like an absolute stroke of genius to me. When I was a young kid, like elementary school age, I was a beast in the little kid basketball leagues I did because I was a big kid and could shoot and most of the other kids just kind of fell down a lot and couldn’t dribble. When I got to sixth grade, my parents put me in a higher level league — read: all the best middle school kids in the Bronx who were shall we say perhaps a bit older and more pigmentful than the kids I was previously going against — and I learned real fast that I was not the hot shit I seemed. Some might take that as a lesson to work harder and never say die, others might just quickly give up on their NBA dreams and decide to play more Sonic the Hedgehog. I’m not sure where this kid in the video will fall after this but, either way, when you learn your place in the world, it definitely has a positive effect one way or the other and hopefully this kid doesn’t end up living up to the ironic “Cons” on his t-shirt.

If you watch closely, this is definitely the second this kid has his “I’d rather be Knuckles the Echidna right now” moment:
