The First KO Of The Night Just Happened At UFC 256 - How Do We Feel About The Stoppage?

We're about to go into the final fight of the UFC 256 prelims over on ESPN2 (ESPN+ PPV begins at 10pm), and we just had our first KO of the night!

Rafael Fiziev landed this beautiful body-head-head combination that just LAUNCHED Renato Moicano into the canvas at warp-speed! Seriously - it looked like a string was pulling him into the ground he went down so hard. Immediately, the referee yelled, "STOP!" and ran in to stop the fight, to which Moicano immediately protested. Joe Rogan mentioned that the stoppage may have been a tad early, as well, and I've seen some fans agree on Twitter, so I ask all of you: what do you think about it?

Personally, I think he was out - even if he came to a lil when he hit the mat, which happens from time to time; grrreeeaaatttt stoppage in my mind.

When you see an athlete in peak condition struggle to sit up on his own....

….he probably isn't prepared to intelligently defend himself from an attack. That's just how I feel.

Oh, and just because this was the first KO of the night, doesn't mean we've had a boring night of bouts! Chase Hooper kicked the night off with an AMAZING comeback victory….

Tecia Torres got a doctor stoppage in her fight, we saw a HELLLLL of a scrap between Billy Q and Gavin Tucker, and we still got tons of fights ahead of us! Should be a fun main card!

UPDATE: Shouldn't be any question on this stoppage….
