Coaches Taking Shots At Coach K And Duke After Games Is Now My Favorite Tradition In College Basketball

Oh fuck yes. Give me all of this. Hell, I'm about to claim Richard Pitino is a top-5 coach of all-time and not Rick Pitino. I need coaches to keep speaking up and talking shit about Coach K. The subtle jab of 'grateful to do it safely and I know our guys love being out there' is so perfect. Just a direct shot at Coach K canceling nonconference games. Hell, it wasn't just Pitino either. After Coach K put out the most ridiculous video (not even wearing a Duke shirt), Bill Self spoke out against him too:

I need all coaches to speak up against Coach K. It's one thing if K just started talking about if he wanted to stop Duke's season. But he's talking about delaying the entire sport. He's not thinking about every other player or every other team. That's why these coaches should speak up. Who gives a shit if you piss off K or any of his lackeys? It's protecting your team. It's protecting your players. If K wants to cancel the season, he can do that with Duke. Not like they are good anyways.

You got it! He talks about how important it is that players go home for the holidays yet they aren't home for Christmas. He talks about  how important it is to follow CDC guidelines, yet the CDC suggests not to travel. He talks about how they are giving kids a break, they are home for maybe 1 day more than a normal year. Kids don't go home for the holidays during the season. They get maybe 48 hours there because of games and practices. Nothing about it makes sense. But then again it's K. The biggest excuse maker in the world.
