You Cannot Wear A Red Sox Hat If You Are Unable To Recognize MANNY RAMIREZ
This video does not sit right with my spirit. Not even a little bit. Josh Beckett face over here had entirely too much attitude with one of the greatest right handed hitters of all time. A man compliments you on your hat and you immediately get defensive? What's going on in your life where such a benign question can immediately trigger even the slightest bit of rage? And to put any amount of rage or negativity out into the universe directed at THE Manny Ramirez? Well, that's just flat out inexcusable.
So I'm putting forth a new rule, and I believe it's one we can all get behind. If you are wearing a Red Sox hat, and are approached by Manny Ramirez, and you *don't* recognize him instantly and try to give him a big hug and start to cry a little bit, you no longer can wear a Sox hat. I'd also like to expand this list to David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez, and Terry Francona. I'm sure there are others who belong on this list, and I'll add to it as I see fit, but right now those are the big four that come to mind. I don't care what your excuse is for not being able to recognize Manny in this situation, that excuse is garbage and rubbish and you should feel bad. Take off the hat, you're an Orioles fan now.
