Steelers Lose For First Time In 340 Days Congrats Everyone

Well it was bound to happen much sooner than later. 

They've played like shit. It is what it is. I'm a die-hard fan of this team, but I can put my foam finger down enough to call when shit is shit. And that's what they've been the last two weeks. 

Congrats to everyone who have been living and dying with their shitty teams waiting for the Steelers to lose. I'm glad you can escape your basement to celebrate the Steelers losing in December for the first time in close to a year. Enjoy it!

The Steelers are now 11-1. And guess what? They're still in first place in the AFC North. They're still in first place in the AFC. There's still four games left to play to clean yourselves up and hopefully find a fucking jugs machine before January comes and when it really matters. 

Because that's what it comes down to. I was told 6-10. I was told 7-9. I never expected this team to be 11-0. It's all gravy. This loss you can laugh off, go to bed with a Christmas movie on, and get back to work the next day. A loss in January to Buffalo, Indy, or Cleveland at home? Those you can't laugh off. Those are the ones that make you puke. 

It was basically all bad tonight. Not a lot to hang your hat on if anything. Tomlin will call it a freshman performance instead of last week's JV performance, and he's right. Now the question becomes will they make the adjustments necessary that championship teams make in order to be able to still laugh this one off in a couple months. 

No game balls this week. Only one deserving was Mike Hilton. He's a fucking stud and deserves to get paid hopefully in a Steelers uniform. He was the only one who brought it tonight. Everyone else sucked.
