LSU WR Pulls A Desean Jackson, But The SEC Weirdly Decides To Just Not Review A Blatant Fumble

Everyone has seen the clip above. Desean Jackson just fumbling the ball on the one-yard line. It actually happened twice earlier in the CFB season, but both were called correctly...a fumble. The refs of these games (Abilene Christian - Army and I forget the other one) used the proper protocol, reviewed it, and saw it was a fumble.

Tonight, in LSU's game against Alabama, LSU pulled a Desean Jackson:

The craziest part? The SEC didn't review it. Just let LSU kick the extra point. There was a player on LSU smart enough to go and recover the fumble:

It would've been LSU's ball, but aren't you not allowed to advance a fumble? Shouldn't have the ball been put on the 1-yard-line?

As pointed out by Michael Lopez, the ref on the goal line did read it correctly:

Just a weird situation. Maybe I'm overthinking it? Who knows. Not that it matters. Alabama is up 45-14.

P.s. Cocky move by that LSU WR.....when you are a 29-point favorite at home, you better make sure that ball is past the line of scrimmage before dropping it. You better DOUBLE check.
