ABSOLUTE INSANITY TO END THE WISCONSIN/MARQUETTE GAME - But Only Because Wisconsin Tried The Worst Flop Ever To Win

Let's get right to the point. What the fuck was D'Mitrik Trice doing here?!? DJ Carton had 0 idea how much time was on the clock. He wasn't even getting a shot off let alone come close to thinking about it. But, of course it's Wisconsin so they try to take a charge. This is 100% a Wisconsin thing. No one else tries to draw a charge when the opposing team has zero clue what's going on. But that's what happened. And credit to refs (you'll never hear me say this again). They made the right call. It was a block. They didn't call a bullshit charge.

But that was just the start.

Then insanity. 1 of 2. Felt like overtime. Just an A+ tip for the win. Insane play all around. That's not even the point. Marquette played well, credit to them. But Wisconsin was always one of the more ehh overrated teams to me. They closed well at the end of last year. Credit there for sure. But so many of their games were within 11 points. It felt like something was missing. This was a team that struggled at the start of last year. Not saying they aren't a top-15ish team, but 4? They aren't the 4th best team in the country. No sir.

Also this is what Wisconsin deserves. You flop, you deserve to lose. I want this shit out of the game more than anything else. So many times college refs pop a hard on to make a charge call when we need to either just have a play on or the right block call. This was correct here. Trice flopped and fouled. It wasn't close to a charge. Any Wisconsin fan bitching about that is wrong. You should wonder why a 12th year senior is trying to jump like that instead of just sitting there and challenging a shot that would have happened after the buzzer.
