Tyreek Hill Says He Thought Patrick Mahomes Was 'Trash' the First Time He Watched Him in Practice

I'd have to imagine calling Patrick Mahomes trash at any point will go down on the Mt. Rushmore of awful takes. It's not a ridiculous take like you see in the media all the time, but it's probably the one which will be proven most wrong over time. This guy is in his third season as a starter and is already being talked about as potentially the greatest quarterback of all-time.

I just want to know what in the world he looked like in training camp as a rookie that made Tyreek Hill think he sucked. I mean, he was the No. 10 pick in the NFL Draft and has far surpassed even the expectations for a top overall pick, so how bad could he have looked? Even if it took him some time to adjust to the NFL, I refuse to believe he looked like "trash." Maybe Hill was playing like shit and his recollection of that camp was that the new guy sucked.

Either way, I'd say Hill and everybody else in that organization is glad they have that guy right about now.
