It's A Crime That Jaret Patterson's Incredible 8 TD Game Wasn't During Tuesday Night #MACtion

There was a decent amount going on in college football today and the noon MACtion game may have flew under your radar. During that game Buffalo's star running back Jaret Patterson scored 8 TDs and rushed for over 400 yards. Let me repeat, Jaret Patterson scored EIGHT TOUCHDOWNS today. Vanderbilt didn't score once, this guy found pay dirt 8 times.

The controversy here is that Buffalo pulled Patterson late in the game just 19 yards shy of breaking Oklahoma’s Samaje Perine's single game record of 427. They pulled him on the 19 yard line! What are doing here? Let the kid have a shot at history! Dude could have broken the rushing and touchdown record on one play and we're denying him of that? Why? There's no logic behind that decision. Sportsmanship should go right out the window when we're dealing with these kind of records. Any coach that has a problem with that should design a better defense to stop the man plain and simple.

This game between Kent State and Buffalo had over 110 points and 1200 yards. The fact this game wasn't on the night before Thanksgiving? That's the MACs fault. What are we doing here? Jaret Patterson should have had millions watching him. Instead, he did it on CBSNN at noon on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. That is not how you grow your brand.
