Allen Robinson's Agent Was Disgusted With The Bears Last Night
Yes, Brandon. Yes we do. We do deserve better than this. I kinda got into it with Chief a little bit about this last night, but though they're just now bottoming out, this offense has sucked ASS all year. Wet construction worker swamp ass as Ed would say. I don't want to hear the injury excuse bullshit for the OL, either - even when Whitehair was in he was getting demolished too. That, and everyone in the league is dealing with Corona, a shortened training camp with no preseason games, and typical wear and tear of an NFL season. No team in the league is healthy through 10 games. Injuries are not secluded to the Chicago Bears. All teams in the NFL are dealing with one or more units that aren't healthy. That's just the state of football right now.
Yes, I was tricked into thinking this team would improve after their comeback against Tampa. Stupid me. But in my heart of hearts I knew this team had MANY warts as a 3-1, 4-1 team. Did I think they'd probably wind up in the Wild Card round? Yes. But wtf is the point of that? If your ceiling is a 9-7ish team that gets bounced in the first round, what the fuuuuccckkk is the point? Might as well just bottom out and start from scratch.
Again. With Ted Phillips calling the shots on who's hired. Again.
I said on the postgame show last night I'm done being pissed and have reached the apathy part of the grieving process. I'm not sure which order the different stages of grief are supposed to go, but I woke up pissed off. Say it with me:
Time is a flat motherfucking circle. I said it weeks ago when I dedicated a whole blog to it and I'm saying it again. It doesn't even really matter which year I write this blog in; it could be 2009 or 2025 and we'll still be irate as fans that the Bears are wasting a Super Bowl caliber defense because their offense is such dog shit. Brandon Parker isn't even a Bears fan and he is just as disgusted with what he's watching as we are.

The season is dead. The coaching staff will undoubtedly be dead. The front office will undoubtedly be dead. And the defense will be one year older. It's infuriating. Hopefully Brandon Parker finds A-Rob a nice home in 2021 - he deserves it. Dude plays his dick off every snap and is a WR1. Dude rocks in every way.
Come commiserate in misery, Bears fans.
