The 0-8 Jets Launched One Of The Most Cowardly Punts Of The Last 20 Years And You Have To Respect It

It's so beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful job by Adam Gase there. Trevor Lawrences don't just grow on trees. Adam Gase clearly has a backroom deal in place with the Jets- he gets to keep his job this season, cash the entire year of paychecks, and in return he agrees to do everything in his power to lose. Starting Joe Flacco and Frank Gore, punting from the 41…it's all part of the plan. I could not appreciate Adam Gase's tank job more right now.

And as I type this, Joe Flacco throws a bomb to Perriman for a touchdown. So now we have a simultaneous Trevor Lawrence tank watch and Patriots losing to the Jets watch. It's a classic unstoppable force vs immovable object. I have no idea how this game will pan out. The Jets are winning 10-7 as of publishing this blog. Would not be surprised if Flacco is yanked at halftime for playing competently. That was NOT part of Gase's gameplan. And now Cam Newton fumbles…turnover on downs. This is getting interesting!
