Pardon My Take's Football Guys of the Week Nominees Presented by Philips Norelco - Week 9

Last week, Dan Mullen of the Florida Gators took home the Football Guy of the Week Award after dressing up like Darth Vader in his postgame press conference. Who will claim the Week 9 prize? Let's meet our nominees:

Virginia Tech DC Justin Hamilton - Said he lost his voice during games so much last year that he had to go to a speech pathologist to help him alter how he yells out calls.

This is a new type of nominee. Teams have shown Big Cat and Duggs logos on play cards, some have hand signals, but it seems like Coach Hamilton and the Hokies use the power of their voices. Unfortunately, he revealed that he reached a bit of a speed bump because of this. Hopefully everything is okay now.

Former UNC QB Marquise Williams - Tweeted “You can tell I’m a football junkie. When my daughter spits her paci out I be like put your mouth piece back in.”

We have seen recurring guest DK Metcalf use a mouthpiece that looks like a pacifier, but Williams' daughter, in this instance, is using an actual pacifier. You know a Football Guy when you see one, and he clearly knows he has what it takes to be on this list.

Pelion (SC) HC Dann Holland - In his postgame interview, he said, “I turned my bluetooth and it came up Iron Maiden, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Ozzy Osborne. I said ball game is over boys, we winning this thing."

What a conclusion Coach Holland drew. Because of the artists that came up on his bluetooth, he determined his team was going to win their game. Well, he was right.

Georgia Elections Official Gabriel Sterling - When updating the Georgia vote count, he said, "Our hope would be today but could slip into tomorrow. Everybody's exhausted, it's Friday, there's a Georgia game tomorrow, it's a really big one. We have to focus on the important things sometimes."
