Last Sunday Purdue announced that Coach Jeff Brohm tested positive for COVID. He won't be on the sideline tomorrow, and now Rondale Moore won't be on the field either.
"No additional information available" is definitely not good. This leads me to believe that it's a personal decision to sit out meaning he could possibly be leaning towards again changing his mind and not playing.
Snip, snap, snip, snap.
Moore opted out back in early August, then in September he announced on College Football Live that he changed his mind and would be returning to play in the fall for the shortened Big Ten season, and now...this. Talk about a bad week for the Boilers.
We'll monitor the breaking news closely to see if this is a one-time thing for tomorrow - perhaps his hamstring still isn't ready somehow?...Or the alternate - he's opting out. Again.
UPDATE: 12:41 on Friday:
It seems Rondale Moore has deleted all the posts from his Instagram account. Take that for what it's worth, but I'd say in my personal opinion him going dark on social media, deleting his Purdue posts, and the news from today don't point to good signs of him playing this season.
