This 7'3" Kid Will Be The Star Of March Madness...In 5 Years When He Gets To College

SI – Meet Chol Marial. He’s a 7’2″, 14-year-old eighth grader playing on the high school basketball team for West Oaks in Orlando, Fla.

Some places have him listed at 7’3″, but MaxPreps.com has him at 7’2″ on their West Oaks roster page. Regardless, one thing is clear—the 175-pound Marial is not only way bigger than his competition, he‘s also pretty skilled.

A look at his highlight tape from TakeMyTalent.com shows a solid jumper, between-the-legs dunks, quite a few blocked shots and even some deft passes.

Looks like we’ve got the next Mamadou Ndiaye on our hands…

Except with an actual skill set that might attract more than UC Irvine.

Just sayin, Pitino. Might want to take a run at him so he’s playing on your side instead of almost knocking you off in the first round of the tourney again.

PS – Come on #5, have a spine for me.
