This Was Riley Curry's Victory Dance After The Warriors Took Game 1

Riley Curry is an ADORABLE little girl. Super cute, does a lot of funny things, also a bit of a fiend for attention in a kind of annoying way in my always humble opinion. But my beef isn’t with her, it’s with the breathless coverage of her every movement by the entire fucking Internet. She’s a cute kid but this was also arguably the greatest game 1 in NBA Finals history and I’m SO FUCKING TIRED of all these Internet shameless pageview factories driving everything into the ground time and time and again. Left Shark, the Dress, I’m exhausted of every “meme” literally within seconds now because I have to see it a billion times from the same people who’d have shouted “WHUT! OKAYYYYY” incessantly when the Lil Jon sketches blew up on Chappelle Show. For as many fun things as the Internet surfaces by obsessing over every frame of a video, it destroys fun just as fast by driving every joke into the ground within minutes. Riley Curry’s adorable but can we let it breathe for a day or two maybe?
