With The 17th Pick In The 2020 Draft The Chicago Blackhawks Select Lukas Reichel As I Said They Would HOURS AGO

Lukas Reichel. WAYYYY off of everyone's radar. Everyone except for mine because I am just that good. 

Just before 10AM my gut told you what would happen at pick #17. You all have access to my brain for free. The Blackhawks got a first hand look at Lukas Reichel last year when the Blackhawks played an exhibition game in Berlin against Reichel's team to get ready for their season opener. Reichel was a good player in the DEL(which is a good international league) playing against men. He had 24 points in 42 games as an underage player and was a big time impact guy for Germany at the U20 level at the WJC. 

I'll save you the platitudes about this kid because I don't really know. Looks like a good skater who knows how to play against men. He can score in tight and seems like he has great vision. A winger who looks like he could be ready soonish and a guy who would fit nicely next to Kirby Dach if he develops properly. Here are his highlights from this year. Enjoy
