Did Lane Kiffin Flush the Toilet While on the SEC Coaches Teleconference?

Man, I needed Lane Kiffin back in the SEC. They say you don't know what you've got until it's gone, so I'm glad the Lane Train came back home.

On this week's SEC coaches teleconference, Kiffin seemed ... a bit preoccupied when it came his turn to answer questions. If you listen to the tape, it is quite clear what he was doing when he was asked to talk about Ole Miss' game this week against Kentucky.

"We're playing a really good team that's very physical and runs the ball really well," Kiffin said. "(Kentucky) played great defense last year and in the first game, limited explosive plays ... *FLUSH* ... you know, as a team."

It is undeniable that Lane was taking care of business in more ways than one while speaking with the media. I don't know if he's aware that his phone has a "mute" feature where that three or four seconds could have been edited out from the public, but I'm glad he apparently is not.

Look, Lane's got things to do. He's not worried about who knows he's on the john when he has to game plan for the Wildcats.

Between Kiffin and Mike Leach, the state of Mississippi will have the eyes of college football on it as long as those two are representing the state's two SEC universities. If the first two weeks are any indication, the next few years should be pretty fun.
