WE CAME TO BOWL, LET US ROLL: Peaceful Bowling Protests Break Out All Over California

New York Post = Bowling enthusiasts from across San Diego County in California staged a protest Wednesday, hoping to get back soon to enjoying their favorite sport. In July, bowling alleys were among the businesses that had to shut down a second time, according to the station.

A return to the bowling lanes would be great news, bowlers outside Kearny Mesa Bowl in San Diego told FOX 5.

For Sean Ohollaren, it could mean a college education for his son, Elias, he said. “My son found bowling a few years ago and he’s really passionate about it,” Ohollaren said, “and he bowls in leagues and these tournaments and wins scholarship

My heart goes out to the holy rolling folks out in California that are scrambling to reclaim some (if not all) of their inalienable rights. The seamless violations need to stop. I understand the science behind mask wearing and not sucking face during a global pandemic. But if you got your own ball and your own shoes and two-cents to rub together in your brain, then I think you should be allowed to bowl, but hat's just me. A peaceful protestor:

WE CAME TO BOWL.
LET US ROLL!

WE CAME TO BOWL.
LET US ROLL!

WE CAME TO BOWL.
LET US ROLL!

Personally I can't begin to tell you how pissed off I am that COVID restrictions have effectively squandered any attempt of an already greenlit national bowling tournament for this fall. That I have to patiently wait for the Gates family to hone their vaccine before we can appropriately find the best stoolie bowler in the world. No disrespect to me sitting on my ass since March or anything, but it would be nice to get this fucking party started before I die.

Elsewhere I'm aware that we have modified restrictions within Illinois and the Chicagoland area and that league play for some is back yet fragile. Thus if you guys need a sub, you know where to find me. DM's are open for a reason.*

* To be clear they're not open for you to voice your concerns about the California political scene. Please. I don't give a fuck
