Sacha Baron Cohen Spotted Filming As Borat.....Does This Mean We Should Prepare For Borat 2?

The hardest I've ever laughed in my life was the first time I watched Borat. I remember it vividly. It was a Friday night and my parents let me watch it with them and I cried of laughter multiple times. As a young man, I thought it was the peak of comedy. No way anybody could ever be any funnier.

Recently on Twitter, a tweet popped up on my timeline asking "which movie should never be remade?" I'm no film expert, but Borat may be on my list. I'm not sure if that tweet was implying sequels as well, but it does look like Borat 2 is being made...in some form:

I hope Cohen goes just as hard as he did in the first one. I hate to go all Ringer/Vox on you, but can the jokes made in the original Borat be made in today's "climate?" Cohen strikes me as a guy who doesn't give a fuck if he gets cancelled, but if he does care about it then Borat 2 could come along and ruin the OG Borat, at least for me. A half effort of Cohen trying to toe the line of "what's acceptable" in today's "media landscape" would be so lame. I guess we can only wait and see.
