Blackhawks Lose An Absolute Heartbreaker In OT, Playoff Hockey Is A Cruel Bitch

5This one hurts. It hurts a lot. That is about as good as this team can play. I loved the Hawks game for the first two periods. Vegas tightened the screws in the 3rd period and OT and the Hawks are down 2-0 in the series. 

Strome missed the game winner by maybe an 8th of an inch. 5 mins or so later, the Blackhawks get pinned down in their own end. Murphy and Carlsson get gassed, Reilly Smith gets lost, and it's game over. I can't tell how to feel. Should I feel encouraged by the Blackhawks playing extremely well or should I be scared that Vegas took the Blackhawks best punch, ate it for dinner, and then choked them out in OT? 

I love the fight in this group. They won't quit. They will make Vegas earn everything. Hawks will have the ability to match lines next game, but against Vegas that doesn't matter in quite the same way it did against Edmonton because they've 4 lines that can contribute.
