Our Washington Football Team Will Have A Huge Home-Field Advantage This Year

WFT -  With the health and safety of its fans and employees top of mind, the Washington Football Team announced today that NFL games at FedExField will be played without fans during the 2020 season. While the organization had developed a comprehensive health and safety plan in close coordination with the State of Maryland and Prince George's County (MD), this decision, endorsed by local officials and partners, comes out of an abundance of caution due to the rapidly changing dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision will be re-evaluated by all parties should the situation surrounding the pandemic improve over the course of the season.

Oh shit! Talk about having a huge leg up on the rest of the league. All these teams are scattering, trying to deal with all these new rules and regulations, especially the prospect of playing in front of empty stadiums. Well guess what? We've been doing this for YEARS! There will be no "getting used to it period", we won't be able to tell the difference. Remember this sad shot from 2017?

That was just another good ol' regular season curb stomping. Good times, good times.

So while obviously I wish it wasn't under these circumstances, I'll take any competitive advantage possible. Home field advantage is home field advantage, and now for the first time in years we have one. Gimme that NFC East title right now, it's already over.
