Rondale Moore Is The 5th Projected 1st Round Pick To Opt Out Of The 2020 Season

This is really too bad. After an injury filled 2019 season, only getting one full season of Rondale Moore at Purdue stinks. As with all of the guys who have opted out, I understand, it's just a harsh reminder of the current situation.

What Moore did to Ohio State in 2018 was phenomenal:

Rondale will surely be a 1st-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft. I guess it's not upcoming because it's 9 months away, but you know what I mean. He will be the 5th future 1st-round pick to opt out. Today, we had Greg Rousseau opt out as well:

For those counting at home:

-Penn State LB Micah Parsons

-Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman

-Purdue WR Rondale Moore

-Miami DE Greg Rousseau

-Virginia Tech DB Caleb Farley

I assume 5-10 more future 1st round picks will do the same.

Players who have said they will be playing:

-OSU DB Shaun Wade

-OSU QB Justin Fields

-LSU WR J'marr Chase

Trevor Lawrence has not shown any indication that he will be opting out.

Here is what the top 10-15 looks like in most mock drafts:

1. Trevor Lawrence (playing)

2. Justin Fields (confirmed playing)

3. Oregon OT Penei Sewell (playing)

4. NDSU QB Trey Lance (playing)

5. Greg Rousseau (opt-out)

6. Micah Parsons (opt-out)

7. J'marr Chase (confirmed playing)

8. Dylan Moses (playing)

9. Patrick Surtain Jr. (playing)

10. FSU DT Marvin Wilson (confirmed playing)

11. Jaylen Waddle

12. Alabama OT Alex Leatherwood (playing)

13. Caleb Farley (opt out)

14. Miami DE Quincy Roche (playing)

15. Pat Freiermuth (playing)
