James Franklin Surprises Walk-On With Scholarship: "I'm Not Giving Him Shit. He Earned This."

All I want in life is for James Franklin to give me compliments and reward me with a walk-on scholarship. That was awesome. Ok I don’t even need the scholarship, I’m a little past my football playing prime anyway. But if he could just stand up and say some nice things about me the way he just did for Von Walker my life would be complete. Nothing and I mean nothing makes you feel like a better man than some heartfelt, nice things being said to you by a football coach.

James Franklin is the man.  Ever since he took the reins and the first thing he implemented was that he would only hire assistants with smokebomb wives.

To loving his players (sometimes a little too much)

To stopping his pressers to give fans hugs

To handing out surprise scholarships to walk-ons during film

I’d play for this dude any day.
