And Drake is DEAD. The Wizards swept the Raptors right into the offseason. They never even stood a chance. The Wizards team that started out the season 22-8 over their first 30 games showed up. Great playing by Wall. Unreal games by him. Simply unreal. A fully healthy Beal doing fully healthy Beal things. Gortat playing the way he was signed to an extension to play, not the basketball he played during the second half of the season when he struggled. And of course Paul Pierce, showing why he picked to play in DC this year. Nothing but huge shots from The Truth. Really, everything clicked and that’s why we got the brooms out. Good coaching decisions by Wittman too. And shout out to the guy who literally wanted to murder me because I said Otto Porter would be a big part of the playoffs rotation. Otto has been phenomenal.
