I’m sure WhiteSoxDave will give us some extended thoughts on this at a later point today but I quickly wanted to get to the most important part. Cub For Life, Jeffrey Alan Samardzija, like a bat out of hell, like a streaking comet, coming in to save the day.

What a boss. This is how you handle your business in a baseball fight. He hit everything on the checklist. Come flying in after tempers have cooled down? Check. Knock over an old guy and maybe kill him? Check. Never actually land a punch or get hit yourself? Check. Fight is a loose term, make sure you just shove and yell? Check. Look fucking awesome while doing all of the above? Check times infinity. That, ladies and gentleman is how you do it.

Also I am not up to date on my AL Central baseball feuds but from an unbiased perspective Yordano Ventura was acting like a real motherfucker here. Rarely will I agree with Hawk Harrelson but fuck Ventura.
