I Will Give Anders Lee Credit For Stepping Up To Sacrifice Himself To Get Killed By Tom Wilson
Credit where credit is due. The Islanders are full of fake tough guys, including the number 1 fake tough guy in the league Cal Clutterbuck. He doesn’t answer the bell. Won’t fight. But he does excel in hits from behind and taking bad penalties and prematurely celebrating like he scored a goal when it went wide. Just a mutt out there. So props to Anders Lee for stepping up and feeding himself to Willy. While everyone else is scared of him, Lee allowed himself to get his skull smashed to pieces. Wilson is just picking the Islanders off one by one, and Lee decided he was going to at least give himself a chance. I respect that. It’s a shame the rest of his team had to rely on cheapies, but that’s what happens when you can’t beat a guy. I feel bad for Willy at this point, I hear real estate is awfully expensive on Long Island and he owns the entire island now. Might have to start a GoFundMe so he can afford those rent checks.
