Poor Winnipeg. Don’t even need a video to know this is the saddest fan in the world. Like Villanova flute girl only WAY more Canadian, which in turn makes it even sadder. Hockey is all she has, hockey is all she ever wanted, and then her team got swept by a bunch of guys from Southern California and she’s stuck standing their with a stupid fucking helmet on her head crying for the whole world to see. It takes a lot for me to feel bad for an opposing fanbase but this did it for me. Those last 2 games in Winnipeg were ELECTRIC, you could tell it was life or death for those fans, and that’s what makes sports so great.
Also the fact that fans were doing “Lets Go Jets” with 20 seconds left and that not a single person left until after the handshake line was awesome. Great fans.
