Breaking News - Brittney Griner Arrested For Assault And Disorderly Conduct In Arizona

PHOENIX - Phoenix Mercury’s Brittney Griner has been arrested for assault and disorderly conduct. Griner was reportedly arrested on April 22. She was released from jail on Thursday morning at 4:23 a.m. Details of the incident are unknown right now.

Griner’s fiance, Glory Johnson has also been arrested for the same charges.She was released from jail at 4:00 a.m. The pair were arrested in Goodyear, Arizona. Griner has played with the Phoenix Mercury since 2013. Want to root for a good hard working franchise, the underdogs, the little guy, then I have a front row seat on the Chicago Sky bandwagon for you. Just a sad sad day for us WNBA fans. Those aren’t jokes, those are real questions because it looks like Britney Griner will be spending most of 2015 as a DNP-Suspension and now the Sky have zero reason to not win the ‘ship.

I don’t think I ever said this out loud on the blog but last year I went to Game 3 of the WNBA Finals at UIC by myself because no one would go with me. Sky left me 4 tickets and I couldn’t find a single soul who wanted to attend so I walked up to the box office and just told them to keep the other 3 in the saddest moment of my life.

Electric crowd though, never feel alone when you’re with 8,000 of your best friends. Only regret was that we lost. Not this year though, not this time.
