The Bears Schedule Is Potentially A Bloodbath And That Is Why They Will Make The Playoffs
Predicting the NFL schedule is a futile exercise. Besides the top 4 or so teams that you know will be good no matter what and the bottom of the barrel, nothing else makes sense. If you looked at the 2014 schedule around this time last year you would have said the Panthers, Chiefs, 49ers, and Saints would be difficult matchups while the Cardinals and Lions would be relatively easy. So take everything I’m about to say with a huge grain of salt.
The 2015 Chicago Bears schedule looks like a potential BLOODBATH. Packers, Cardinals, @ Seahawks to open the season could very well be 0-3 followed up by @ Chiefs and @ Detroit and then that Broncos game with a short week traveling to Lambeau. Land mines all over the place and that my friends is exactly why the Bears will make the playoffs. The NFL never makes sense. I remember looking at the schedule last year and thinking worst case scenario 10-6, HA! Well I look at this schedule and I think best case scenario 6-10, HA again. We’ve got the NFL just where we want them, the bar is low, everyone thinks the Bears suck and that is why they will be good.
