Yahoo!- There’s nothing better than having a hot dog at a ball game. So, when a team offers hot dogs for just $1, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that fans are willing to jump at the opportunity. Kansas City Royals fans are having some second thoughts about cheap hot dogs after their most recent Buck Night. The quality of $1 hot dogs being served were not up to standard, according to KCTV5. The above photo shows a normal, full-price hot dog at Kauffman Stadium, and one of the $1 dogs served on Buck Night. One fan, Neal Ross, attempted to return his subpar dog, but was told he could not.

I don’t know, man.  Like okay.  I understand why the fans are pissed about getting served hot dogs that look like literal pieces of shit.  I get that.  But how mad can you be if you were the one who decided it’d be a good idea to buy a $1 hot dog in the first place?  I think when you spend 4 quarters on a piece of food, any piece of food, you give up your right to go around bitching about the quality.  That feels like a good rule.  Nobody should ever buy a food item for $1 and say, “Well this is worse than I was expecting” because it’s simply not true.  It’s exactly what you should be expecting.  Pay that little amount of money and it’s expected.  Again, there’s fault on both sides here.  The Royals probably shouldn’t have served hot dogs that came from a dumpster.  Noted.  The fans also shouldn’t have high expectations for hot dogs being solid on Buck Night.  If they had been served those hot dogs after paying full price?  Then you burn that mother fucker to the ground and it’s justified.  Make a stink about it and take it all the way to the Supreme Court.  Also, if it’s Buck Night does that mean beers are also a buck?  Because get me drunk enough and I’ll eat just about anything.  Including a garbage disposal hot dog.
