Late Game Brawl Between The Flames And Nucks Is Everything That's Great About Playoff Hockey

Last night the Canucks were able to tie up their series with a 4-1 win over the Flames, but not before closing the night out with a good old fashion donnybrook. It was a pretty chippy game from start to finish, but things really started picking up in the 3rd period. Then after about 58 minutes, the boys finally said enough is enough, everyone grabbed themselves a dance partner and had a go. Only thing that was missing here was a knuckle-shuffle between Eddie Lack and Karri Ramo. But this is one of the best parts of the playoff hockey atmosphere. The goals are always great, seeing the most unexpected guys ever step up in crunch time to be heroes is even better. But the bad blood that boils over throughout a 7-game series is tops. And with the way these two teams are playing, it looks like its going to take the full 7 here. Gotta imagine these next 5 games are going to be some must-watch entertainment. Can’t wait to see Johnny Hockey get himself a few shots in during the next dance.

Glad to see Derek Dorsett is still a little rat.

Think the guys keeping track of the game sheet had fun last night?

Ryan Miller making sure he gets a few chirps in there.

When you’re playing some puck with your boys and mom yells outside that she just made Bagel Bites.

Can’t blog about a Canucks v. Flames donnybrook without adding this in at the end.
