Teenage Girl Gets Out Of Drinking Ticket By Beating Cops In Rock Paper Scissors

NYDN – Rock beats scissors — and it definitely beats prosecution for underage drinking. A girl avoided an underage drinking ticket by defeating an officer at rock-paper-scissors at a country music festival and fund-raiser in Snook, Texas, over the weekend. The drunken Chilifest crowd cheered when the girl bested one of the officers by throwing rock to his scissors, according to a Texas A&M student’s Vine videothat’s gone viral. As the girl hugged her friend in relief, the defeated officers walked away from the scene. The cops’ departments will decide whether to pursue disciplinary action after police officials saw the video, Burleson County Constable Dennis Gaas told KBTX. The unnamed officers will not be allowed to work security at future Chilifests, Gaas said. While it is an officer’s choice whether to give a warning or citation at the festival — which is known to host a rowdy crowd — police should not “play games to get someone out of a ticket,” Gaas said. The girl was lucky — 44 other underage partiers were given citations for possessing alcohol, according to the Eagle.

Awesome. Its like Trial By Combat for a drunk teenage chick. We need more of this in the world. Police should have to earn their tickets. Can’t just flash a badge and flex your police muscles and bully us around. You should have to defeat me in a game of wits. A battle of logic. A zero sum challenge. Because if you cant beat a drunk chick in Rock Paper Scissors you dont deserve to fine anybody. You should be the one getting fined. You should lose your badge, sir.

Thats where the outrage should come in – this cop is too dumb to battle this shitfaced teenager. Not from the idea that he was unprofessional by letting this girl off. Is incredible. Thats the face of pure relief. Utter shock that you got away with it. Whatever it may be. When the cop lets you off a speeding ticket or a drinking citation. When you get away with a lie at work or with your girlfriend. When your sports team gets themselves in a jam and somehow gets out of it. One way or another we’ve all been in a situation where this face has come out, and to be honest, in that split second, its one of the best feelings on earth. So if you’ve ever felt relief of getting away with something, dont throw stones at these cops. And also lets be real here – cops give warnings all the time. It was dopey of them to play a game and allow themselves to be filmed but lets not act like this is the first time cops have let someone slide. They’re keeping the peace at a huge music festival. Letting one girl off isnt a big deal.
