Weekend Wake Up: The Water Temple From Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

Check out this absolute legend running a train on the Water Temple. Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the first video game it think I remember beating. And I'm pretty sure it took me multiple weeks. Longggggg gaming sessions with Epona, Link's horse. I also used to ask people at the pool if they knew that Zelda wasn't the name of the character you played as and if they said no I basically ripped them a new one. This level was probably the hardest thing I had to do in my childhood, definitely the most frustrating part of the 1990s for me. Going to Blockbuster on Friday night and reading the game magazines with the tips on how to beat the games and levels was like study hall. I couldn't take a picture of the articles telling me how to beat the damn Water Temple, so I had to read super quick. My parents weren't going to buy me the magazine either, so it was a race against time. This guy had the map memorized like the back of his hand, I couldn't imagine how many times it took him to pull this off. The music in this level was so creepy for some reason too, I never really knew why. Even with this level that spawned from Satan, this is arguably one of the great games of all time. A true classic.
