Just A Reminder That Islanders' Goalie Jaro Halak Is a Huge Mental Midget And Isn't Comfortable Playing Against His Old Teams

I forgot Halak was the biggest mental midget of all time. Guy went to Adam Oates last year after the Caps acquired him at the deadline and said he couldn’t play against his former team. I just laughed out loud typing that sentence. The Caps fucking traded for Halak because former GM George McPhee was losing his fucking marbles, and then Halak couldn’t even play down the stretch because he was going to shit his pants if he played against his former team. And what do you know, now he has to play against the Caps. Awesome.

Halak has a pea-sized brain. All he had to do was protect a 3-1 lead against Columbus in the last regular season game at the Barn and the Islanders got home ice for the playoffs. He couldn’t do it. Then the Isles scored and retook the lead and all he had to do was protect the 4-3 lead with 4 and a half minutes left in the season, and he couldn’t do it. Then all he had to do was win the shootout, and he couldn’t do it. Halak is soft. No other way to put it.

So glad the Caps have home ice. The DC faithful better be ALL OVER HIM. Nonstop. From warmups to the last whistle. All up in his face. Because he can’t handle the pressure. And plus because back in 2010 with the Canadiens he made our lives living hell when he played for Carey Price and made 1,000 saves a night when the Caps were the 1 seed. That was a once-in-a-lifetime performance and now it’s time for revenge. Bring on the Isles and that baby Halak.
