Pat Boyle Says That Patrick Kane Could Be Cleared For Contact Tomorrow, Probable For Game 1

Two reasons why I am taking this tweet from Boyle seriously…1) I like Pat Boyle. He’s not a guy that just throws stuff against the wall to see what sticks. If he’s saying it then he probably has a good source. 2) I want it to be true. Simple as that.

I never thought it would be 12 weeks. That was a PR thing so the beat reporters wouldn’t be asking about his status every day like a Derrick Rose. Kane has been skating on his own for a while now and practicing with the team for the past two weeks.  There has been cryptic Coach Q speak about a possible return date, and now it appears as though Kane could be back sooner than anyone expected.

If Kane does come back make no mistake, the Nashville Predators are deader than any dead team that ever died.
