Jordan Spieth Fires A First-Round 64 At The Masters
Is that good? 21 years old and shoots a 64? Did he break it? 64! He’s 21! That’s incredible. To provide a little bit of context, the best round ever in any major is a 63. That’s in the history of golf. He missed the record by a single stroke. It was just the third 64 ever to open the Masters. For awhile there we were on #62Watch until he bogeyed 15. The kid is ridiculous. 9 birdies. He hit a few shots that made you go, “Not sure how he did that but I’m glad I watched it.” And don’t forget it’s only his second appearance in the Masters. What were you doing when you were 21? Bet you weren’t buying 2.2 million dollar houses and giving yourself a three stroke lead after the first round at Augusta. Spieth and his outrageously good golf game making your parents hate you just that much more. Still a looooooong way to go in this tournament but opening with a 64 will undoubtedly help your cause.

PS- Feeling okay about this right now. Choo Choo? (if you don’t factor in all of my other bets)
