Female MMA Fighter Knocks Out A Guy In 53 Seconds In Her First Match
MMA Fighting – Can Ronda Rousey beat a UFC male bantamweight? The question always rises after each one of “Rowdy’s” dominant performances in the Octagon, but we will never find the answer for it. In Brazil, one woman had the chance to fight a man in a cage.
Larissa Schroeder was scheduled to make her amateur MMA debut in a featherweight bout at Evolution SF Fight in Sao Francisco de Paula, Rio Grande do Sul, on March 28. However, hours before the event, her opponent decided not to fight. That’s when Schroeder’s coach Cristiano Benedetto had an idea.
“I asked her if she wanted to fight Fernando Lemos, who is her training partner in my gym, so she would know how it feels like to fight in a cage,” Benedetto told MMAFighting.com. “They are training partners and are used to spar. I don’t think it was a big deal. That’s what they do every day in the gym. It was almost a demonstration.”
The fight only lasted 53 seconds, and Schroeder won via technical knockout.
Well fuck yeah this is what I’m talking about. You want it? Earn it. The problem I have with feminist agendas is that they often say women don’t get the same opportunities as men do. But here’s a chick who trained with the guy, was ready to compete when her original fight fell through, and completely punked him out. It wasn’t a great showing by any stretch but she manned the fuck up — sorry feminists — and beat this kid until he wobbled around and just couldn’t take it any more. Complete domination. It’s like anything else in life, no one knows how good you are against your peers or other genders until you prove it. This chick proved it for the good of women everywhere, bottom line. Does it mean every chick can beat up every guy? No, of course not. But now at least you could say “Well who knows?” Maybe winning a fight against a guy at a Z-list Brazilian MMA show is about as big of a win for women as a girl being promoted to manager over a man at a Fort Worth McDonald’s but hey, a win is a win.
This guy though needs to just disassociate from manhood forever. I totally get how it’s possible to lose to a woman, especially in a leverage and tactic-based sport like MMA, but you can’t be the first one to publicly go down in a viral video. That’s like being James Franco giving Caesar the ape his superhuman intelligence in the Planet of the Apes remake. You had a chance to toe the line on behalf of us all and you failed. Now we’re all going to be in cages getting fucked in the butt for the next 100 years and there’s no one to blame but this dude.
