Have To Sort Of Respect The Cubs For Postponing A Game Last Night Due To "Weather" When It Didn't Even Rain
Suckersssss.
…
I love how everyone is laughing at the Cubs for the debacle on Sunday and the cancellation yesterday. Laugh? It was the smartest move the Cubs have ever pulled. To postpone a game due to weather when it wasn’t even raining is absolutely genius. Just look at what they accomplished by fake canceling a game.
1. Kris Bryant service time – He’s one day closer to being called up. Please adjust your scorecards accordingly, that will now be 70 YABOS for KB this season.
2. The bathrooms are still broken – Sunday was a debacle, yesterday they spent the day delivering Porta Potty’s, now we’re all set (probably not but at least they had an extra day). Also, people who complain about Porta Potty’s are the worst. So they’re gross, grow up, if you don’t like being in a gross bathroom don’t leave your house.
3. Money – Hmmm, play a dreary April game when a significant portion of the Stadium is under construction and thousands of seats are unoccupied or wait and play that same game in the Summer when the bleachers are ready and everyone will spend hundreds of dollars getting drunk? Wonder which one they’ll choose.
4. The Division – By the time we replay this game the Division might not even matter but if it does, it will be nice to put even more cushion on our first place lead over the Cardinals once Bryant is up and the Cubs are humming.
So good job Crane Kenney, can’t wait for the next “weather cancellation” in a week.
