Scott Steiner Is Being Investigated For Threatening To Murder Hulk Hogan...Is Also Now 86'd From The WWE
NY Post - According to TMZ, Hulk Hogan recently had his life threatened by Scott Steiner, a former scripted ring ally with the NWO syndicate in WCW wrestling who has developed a real-life beef. According to the report, Steiner accosted Hogan’s wife, Jennifer, at baggage claim in the San Jose airport, where she was arriving on March 26 for WrestleMania. Steiner allegedly said he would “kill Terry [Hogan’s legal name] as soon as he lands.” Sources told TMZ that Jennifer didn’t recognize Steiner, and called her husband. The police are now investigating Steiner for “felony terrorist threats.” TMZ reported airport surveillance video shows Steiner confronting Hogan’s wife. Steiner, known at times as “Big Poppa Pump” for his inflated physique, was dismissive of the allegations, telling TMZ: “Typical Hogan. He’s just a punk.” This Instagram photo appears to indicate Steiner was banned from the premises during WWE’s marquee event last month:
Oh, how the mighty(ish) have fallen. One day you’re at the top of the steroid game, putting jabronis in the Steiner Recliner, the next day you’re a washed up flabby old guy threatening to kill Hulk Hogan. Life comes at you fast. And to then be banned by WWE. Do you know how hard it is to be banned by WWE? They pretty much have 0 rules. They have this drug policy that reads pretty much like “we will suspend you if you do steroids or drugs…well unless you’re kinda popular or have a big match coming up…but really, just try not to do them…but unless Vince wants you to look bigger on TV…then just don’t get caught”. But yet Big Poppa Pump just had to threaten to kill one of the only guys Vince is close with. Tragic mistake. Threaten to kill some midcarder or something. You don’t go directly to Hulk Hogan.
PS: Won’t be shocked if Vince sees this story made the NY Post and other mainstream pubs and makes it into a story line and Steiner ends up getting paid that sweet WWE money to bring this story line to television. Steiner vs Hogan at Summerslam…I’ve seen worse ideas happen.
