Duggs Wants Bama: Volunteers Head to Tuscaloosa for Humongous Game Against Crimson Tide

When a college football team's schedule is released months before the season starts, it is common to circle potential big games down the road.

That was the case for Tennessee, and when Head Coach Gus Duggerton got his hands on his 12-game slate, one contest stood out:

The Alabama Crimson Tide.

This battle between (9) Tennessee and (6) Alabama has massive implications for both the SEC and BCS Title picture. The Volunteers (8-0, 4-0) started the season unranked, yet here they are in the Top 10 as we reach the final third of the regular season.

Worst case scenario, as it stands right now, is another New Year's Six Bowl Appearance. But Coach Duggs has absolutely no interest in that. He's going for it all. He wants to bring a National Championship back to Knoxville.

Tonight will go a long way in determining if Tennessee has that "Championship DNA." If you can win a game in Tuscaloosa, you can do just about anything.

We'll see you at 9 PM ET tonight, when Coach Duggs looks to keep the perfect season alive.
