It had been rumored throughout the afternoon that Coach Duggs had been in talks with the Vols even before Texas Tech's appearance in the Cotton Bowl, but it seemed too good to be true.

You never know how much of these reports are leaked to gain leverage and what's true and what isn't, but Vol Nation worked its magic once more and willed Gus Duggerton to Knoxville.
