Co-Big 12 Champs! Texas Tech Overcomes Seven Turnovers, Beats Iowa State 30-11

If you think Coach Gus Duggerton's first (and most likely only) season in Lubbock has been a failure, look no further than the tweet above. A team that was just 2-10 a year ago has found its way to a New Year's Six Bowl. 

That's right, the (17) Texas Tech Red Raiders are heading to the AT&T Cotton Bowl! 

This comes after a 30-11 victory in Ames to cap the regular season for the Red Raiders (9-3, 7-2). The good news for TTU? Tonight's win guaranteed a share of the Big 12 Title. The bad news? Coach Duggs' squad had to rely on 2-9 Kansas to upset (14) TCU to win the trophy outright, and that never stood a chance.
