Chaos Unfolds At Sugarloaf As Chairlifts Start Going Backwards

So this was a big story over the weekend.  Front page news on Boston.com.   This was literally the headline.

Honest to god before I watched the video I thought maybe people died or something.   Umm what the fuck was this?   That was the least dramatic video of all time.  I don’t even understand why were people were jumping out of the chairlifts in the first place?  If they kept going backwards they were just gonna be back at where you get on.  You could just get off.   Or worst case you smash into the guy in back of you at low speeds.   I just don’t get how this became headline news?   And how do you get seriously hurt here?   Bizarre.   This was one step ahead of the Jbar malfuntioning when your literally being dragged on the ground.
