Whio – Most of those arrested during the post-UD win early Saturday morning were highly intoxicated and refusing to obey police orders. That’s according to the Dayton police arrest reports of people who were out on Kiefaber Street and in an alley on Lawnview Avenue. Police said thousands of people gathered along Keifaber for the post-game celebrations.

Police were more prepared after the Flyers victory this year. They increased patrols after celebrations got out of control last year during the Flyers’ run to the Elite Eight in the NCAA basketball tournament.

What’s up Dayton, you getting soft on us? Only 6 people arrested? Just a little bit of a noisy gathering outside? Was anything even on fire? I don’t know, think all this success is starting to go to Dayton’s head. 2 March Madness wins already and not a single flipped over cop car. Somebody’s spoiled.
