Robbed! Snubbed! SEC Bias! (3) USC Wins Pac-12 Title, Settles for Rose Bowl Invite

Heart. Break. City.

After erasing a 14-point deficit in the Pac-12 Championship Game, the celebration began for the USC faithful. The 50-43 win for the Trojans over Stanford was complete, and with FSU's upset over Georgia Tech earlier in the day, it seemed as if Coach Gus Duggerton and company would be heading to the National Championship to face Ohio State.

Until the BCS intervened.

Immediately after the win, Coach Duggs simulated the rest of Champ Week to see what was next to cap a thrilling season with the Trojans. And the system favored the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Unfortunately, this news overshadows the instant classic we saw in Los Angeles tonight. The back-and-forth affair between the Trojans and the Cardinal was nothing short of exhilarating.

But for Coach Duggs, all of that hard work meant nothing in the grand scheme of things. After the news began to set in, USC's Offensive Coordinator put on a spin zone, saying he is humbled to be invited to play in "The Granddaddy of Them All."

Now, the focus shifts to Monday night, where either (3) USC or (4) Michigan State will finish its season with a win. And Coach Duggs is optimistic for what the future holds.
