The NFC South Will Be the Best Offensive Division In the History of the NFL

With the Bucs adding Rob Gronkowski to pair with Tom Brady, I got to thinking about if there had ever been a division in the history of professional football with as much offensive talent as the NFC South will have in 2020. And the answer I came up with was "no."

Just take a look at the list of some of the offensive players in the division this year:

Atlanta: Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Todd Gurley, Hayden Hurst

New Orleans: Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, Taysom Hill

Tampa Bay: Tom Brady, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, O.J. Howard

Carolina: Teddy Bridgewater, Christian McCaffrey, D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson

Obviously it falls off a little bit for the panthers after McCaffrey, but this division is going to be unreal to watch. I count seven guys on that list that I consider to be locks for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and a couple others who could easily make their way there. The NFL is salivating over the Big XII scores we're going to have in these 12 games.

I can't wait. Congratulations to the Bucs on making it to the big time and I look forward to a great NFC South title chase in the 2020 season.
