Were The Air Max LT21's The Greatest Shoe Ever Created? Next Question

With the Chargers showing off their aggressively sexy new uniforms this morning, I was immediately reminded of how grotesquely swaggy LaDainian Tomlinson looked in those powder blues.

Just look at that majestic beast. It simply does not get any better than that. Never has, never will. Perhaps if LT had the yellow facemask here but that's it.

Anyway, as soon as I think about LaDainian Tomlinson, my mind always goes to the greatest pair of shoes ever placed on this Earth. The Nike Air Max LT21's. And specifically the all whites with the powder blue and lightning gold log.

Now I'm not much of a "sneaker head". In fact, I'm nothing of a sneaker head. Mostly because I think the majority of shoes these days look like pure trash (thanks a lot, Kanye). I'll admit that I'm a pretty big fan of the sock sneaker style but I'm a firm believer that shoes peaked with the LT21's.

I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them. Because if I could go back in time right now, I would purchase every single pair of LT21's in my size and keep them in a storage unit to last me through the rest of my life. There's going to come a time in human existence where gold no longer has any value. Money won't have any value. And the highest form of currency will be a fresh pair of LT21's. I'd be the richest man on the planet if I just had the wherewithal at the time to load up on these shoes while I still could. But alas.

All we can hope now is with the Chargers unveiling these uniforms today, perhaps Nike will bring back these sneakers and the year 2020 will be saved. They're our only hope.
